Recicla Sul da Bahia

Project that has the mission of transforming Trancoso into a model city of sustainability.

An actor of sustainability, Recicla Sul da Bahia offers solutions for the management of recyclable and organic waste with the purpose of cultivating a clean Trancoso and transforming local culture of waste disposal.

Currently, it has two recycling points that collaborate with local cooperatives; a Protect Paradise plastic reframing workshop and various community engagement actions such as sustainability workshops and voluntary collection points. It also manages large generators and events on a monthly basis to sponsor the maintenance of recycling bins.
