Observatório Social de Porto Seguro

The Observatório Social do Brasil – Porto Seguro (OSB-PS) is a private association, with no economic purposes, based in the city of Porto Seguro.

Acting as a community support organization, OSB-PS is dedicated to research, analysis and dissemination of information on the management of public resources, promoting transparency and ethics in public administration.

Among its main objectives, the OSB-PS seeks to encourage the active participation of society in monitoring the quality of public services, evaluating the results generated by institutions and demanding the good use of resources. The organization works to strengthen fiscal citizenship, promoting events, courses and debates that disseminate knowledge about citizens' rights and duties and the importance of monitoring public policies.

Furthermore, OSB-PS aims to contribute to the development of a more ethical, fair and democratic society, defending universal values such as citizenship, human rights and social peace. The association also works to defend the environment and local, state and federal legislation, promoting actions that ensure the individual and collective rights of the population.

By encouraging volunteerism, OSB-PS strengthens the social control network, engaging the Porto Seguro community in the fight against corruption and promoting more transparent and efficient public management.
