With members across various states in Brazil, MUDA! — the Brazilian Collective for Responsible Tourism — is dedicated to promoting and strengthening sustainability in the national tourism sector. We act as a catalyst for meaningful change within the travel industry, striving to position Brazil as a destination that values responsible and transformative tourism.

We believe tourism is a powerful tool for empowering communities and cultures, conserving the environment, mitigating the effects of climate change, creating economic alternatives, and building resilience within destinations. It can also combat social and gender inequalities, confront racism, promote understanding and peace among peoples, and drive sustainable development.

We view travel as a way to build and strengthen human relationships that benefit everyone. For us, MUDA members, working in tourism only makes sense when we are actively encouraging positive and lasting transformations for all involved.

To that end, we take responsibility for the impacts we generate in the destinations where we operate, working tirelessly to maximize benefits and minimize potential negative effects.
