Associação Despertar Trancoso

Founded in 2010 by Kelly Fernanda Paduin, holder of a  tourism master's degree and resident of Trancoso for 20 years, the NGO's mission is to defend the foundations and practices of sustainable and regenerative tourism as a solution for preserving the natural and historical heritage of Trancoso .

It offers free classes for the low-income population and operates on 3 pillars: Professional Training, Agro-ecology and PICS (Integrative and Complementary Practices in Health). Thus bringing a full awareness of the importance of Sustainable Tourism for the entire local community and future generations.
